Record accepted deliveries clearly
Weigh produce, record grading and give the grower a receipt. Keep rejected quantities and reasons separate from accepted output. A delivery record is not itself proof of payment.
Show the settlement calculation
Present gross delivery value, agreed deductions, prior payments and the balance. Reconcile each line to its source document and explain disputes before marking a settlement complete.
